Both Verena and Pat have been regular exhibitors in the past and will have a range of items on exhibition and for sale this weekend
Pat Todd makes a wide range of ceramics from wall plaques and cups, bowls in delicate porcelain to lovely chunky stoneware bowls
She has a studio in Felixstowe in Penfold Road
Verena Daniels has her own workshop and studio in Felixstowe and she makes superb fused glass from gorgeous wall panels to funky fun window hangings  - for example  penguins and snowdrop panels
 
Both are well known local artists and accept commissions

Spring Show & Lifeboats

Hi Everyone
Not only will there be our Show of crafts upstairs at The Shipwreck at Shotley Marina
but also
Lifeboats will be coming over from Harwich during the weekend - all part of an RNLI Event
So you can look at the lifeboats and the RNLI will have various things for sale for their funds

How neat is that crafts and lifeboats to look at  - so something for everyone this weekend

Will post some pics tomorrow of the event and what we have for sale and of the demonstration area Maggie will be there tomorrow demonstrating quilting as will Anne Marie

Spring Show at SHotely this weekend Saturday to Monday

Here are a few samples of the kind of work on offer and crafts you can see this weekend at
The SHIPWRECK at the end of the Shotley Peninsula at the Marina

You can drive down - lots free parking or take the ferry across from Harwich or Felixstowe

Makes a great day out what ever the weather - sunny day walk along the waterfront and admire the yachts, tugs, container ships, ferries and shipping across to Harwich & Felixstowe the biggest container port in the UK . 
Have a meal 'al fresco' outside The Shipwreck or if wet have lunch inside.
Later come up and look at our craft show, and hopefully go home well fed and with a crafty goody in your bag!

OCTOBER EXHIBITION - 25-26th OCTOBER 2014

Our 28th exhibition and craft sale will be

10am – 4pm

Free parking 

Refreshments - lots of lovely cakes teas and coffees plus sandwiches and rolls  

We will have a wider range of  items for sale as we have expanded our membership greatly and of course we will have various guest exhibitors 

The format takes the form of an Exhibition Room where a selection of the very best items are displayed  - complete with catalogue 

We shall also have a separate Sales Room in which the majority of items are displayed for sale 
Like last year this will be set up in various 'departments' to make your selection of purchases easier. 

There will be a dedicated 

Children's section a wide variety of soft toys and baby toddler quilts
Christmas Area with tree decorations, wall hangings, stockings, and all things Christmas
Men's and Women's gifts
Items for house and home - fabric, wood, wool, ceramic
Furniture for home and garden  in Oak other local woods
Bowls  and platters - wooden, fabric, ceramic
Clocks, goblets - ceramic and wood
Pepper Mills in wood and with silver embellishment
Quilts - single, double, queen and king sized
Fashion - jackets, sweaters, tunics in wools and cottons
Accessories - scarves, wrist-warmers, slippers, bags in fabric and wools
Jewelery  - Silver, beading, needle-weaving, chain-mail, wood and ceramic

In addition we shall have a dedicated demonstration area where you can meet various artists and artisans and see how it is all done 

There is plenty of help at hand and if you do not see what you want please do ASK as we will have many things held in reserve as we can not have everything on display !


This year we have new members bring new crafts and skills, to add depth and breadth to what we will have on display - new ceramics, jewellery, felted goods, hand made chairs and stools, oak outdoor furniture, new pen and ink cards, graphic art, and textile art and quilts ... plus lots more

Plus of course the Guest Exhibitors which will include we hope very popular regulars plus a selection of new crafters.
