Original Art and Craft items on show and for sale

The Peninsula Craft Society will be holding its 25th Exhibition this spring – quite an achievement for a small local society! This success is surely a testimony to the quality and diverse range of crafts available from the group.

To celebrate this achievement we have invited past and present members and guest artists to exhibit their latest creations.

This will be a very special exhibition and sale room showcasing the very best the region has to offer - so please come and help us celebrate it!

This is the first posting for a group that has successfully been in existence since 1997. The membership has grown and changed through the years  reflecting a dynamic and lively group. The skills and crafts on offer have also changed and expanded through the years, varying from jewellery, wood-turning, quilting, weaving  spinning, ceramics, pottery, bead-work to name but a few!

The group has attracted not only a local dedicated group of followers and regular customers but a far wider audience. Many travel specially to attend the first day to ensure the best choice of unique items on exhibition and for sale.

Below are a couple of photographs from last years exhibition at the Shipwreck in April 2012

Keep checking as we shall be showcasing each members profiles. This will include a short biography with background information with photographs of their craft items, which will be regularly updated. There will be links to individuals web pages /blogs etc  - so watch this space!

Below are some samples of our committee members work that were exhibited at last years Shipwreck Exhibition as a taster of things to come this year!  They all do commissions and have been actively sought after by clients not only locally but from all over the UK and overseas - many having a well deserved international reputation for their work.
