CHELMONDISTON SHOW - WHAT YOU MISSED!

It was a lovely day and although we did not have a full complement of group members we did manage a good show.
Gloria outshone hersefl with her yummy cakes and sandwichs and rolls - we never take a packed lunch when she's doing our catering!

So everyone - for those who missed it or wish to come or could not make the last exhibition do come to this small but very friendly working exhibition 
We will all be there - giving mini demonstrations and some coaching and advice on our respective crafts 

GLORIA will be providing her wonderful rolls and cakes teas/coffees for everyone - so come for tea/coffee cake and a chat and just enjoy looking and chatting to all of us. 

We would love to meet you and chat to new as well as past customers and fellow crafters.

We welcome new members - you  must submit examples of your work to the committee

Gave a lovely neat summary of the group and what we had achieved!

Maggie then cut the cake - and yummy it was as well 
Oh and she is wearing one of my signature pieces - the Dales all wool jacket she commissioned from me - and am told she gets many compliments about it!

We managed to salvage a few pieces to take to those who could not attend

Gloria does all our catering at events at the Village Hall in Chelmondiston at our July one working show and at Wolverstone our 2 day Winter Exhibition 

Regulars know how lovely her cakes and sandwiches/rolls are ........as for the cakes (well be prepared for an expanded waistline!) 
So if past experience is to go by - our anniversary cake will be something extraordinary!

We have commissioned a special celebration cake,which will be officially  cut at 
3pm on the 
Monday 27th May
So make sure to be there for that afternoon if you want to help us celebrate our 25th Exhibition!

Prior to that a free soft drink is available to those who attend 

We look forward to seeing all our regular customers and of course new people!

The Peninsula Craft Society will be holding its 25th Exhibition this spring – quite an achievement for a small local society! This success is surely a testimony to the quality and diverse range of crafts available from the group.

To celebrate this achievement we have invited past and present members and guest artists to exhibit their latest creations.

This will be a very special exhibition and sale room showcasing the very best the region has to offer.

These are a selection of hand crocheted pieces by Lynn Dyson-Bruce that will be at the forthcoming show this weekend 
She is a self taught crocheter and has been creating her own designs for 30 years 
Her work is varied - from crocheted blankets and rugs to delicate pieces of jewellery

Celebration Cake ......................for 25th



Celebration 25th Exhibition Cake
Cake - who can't resist cake !

We are having a celebration cake for our 25th - so come and share it at the show - cutting ceremony to be on the Monday on 27th at 3pm
So some cake and fun for everyone before we close

Throughout the three day show we will be offering a free non-alcoholic drink to those who wish as part of our celebration as a way of thanking our customers

Gloria will be baking something really special for us - all I kow is that it will something in the fruit line with some glam icing on top!
